Each cohort runs for several weeks with a fixed weekly rhythm, so you always know where you need to be:

• Live lectures and labs from 6–8 PM Pacific time, recorded and published within 8 hours
• Weekly TA office hours for unblocking your homework and capstone
• Book club sessions covering one engineering chapter per week
• Homework reviewed against a rubric — you ship code, not quizzes

You leave with an end-to-end capstone running on real infrastructure: batch and streaming ingestion, a modeled lakehouse layer, orchestrated pipelines, data-quality checks and a serving layer with dashboards.

Capstones are reviewed line by line by instructors, graded against the same bar used in big tech design reviews, and published to your portfolio — this is the artifact that gets you interviews.

You will get the most out of the live programs if you are comfortable with basic SQL (joins, aggregations) and basic Python (functions, dictionaries, virtual environments).

Before each cohort starts we open a week-zero preparation module with a diagnostic and refresher material, so nobody spends week one fighting their environment.

Your enrollment includes sandbox access to the same platforms you will meet on the job — no personal credit card, no surprise bills. From your Dashboard, click “Go to Onboarding” for your registered program and each credential is activated step by step:

• Databricks workspace for lakehouse and Spark labs
• AWS account with scoped permissions for storage and compute exercises
• Snowflake warehouse for modeling and performance work
• Astronomer (Airflow) deployment for orchestration

Lectures and labs happen on our Discord stages — the same server where the community lives, so questions keep flowing after class ends. Book club and TA sessions run on Google Meet.

Every link, for every session, lives on your Dashboard and schedule page, adjusted to the timezone set in your profile.

Add your GitHub username to your profile, then activate GitHub from the credentials tab. Access to all course repositories — starter kits, lab solutions and capstone templates — is granted automatically within minutes.

You keep read access to the repositories after the program ends, including future updates to the material.

You are never debugging alone at midnight. Support runs on three layers:

• TAs answer questions on Discord, typically within one business day
• Weekly office hours for live, screen-share debugging
• A crew of peers and alumni in the same channels — many hiring managers among them

Yes — you receive a verifiable certificate of completion for each program. But we are honest about hiring: certificates open doors, portfolios close offers.

That is why the program is built around the capstone, mock interviews with real engineers, and resume reviews focused on data platform work. Your strongest asset on the market is a production-grade project you can defend in a system-design conversation.
